Random Word of the Day: Envelope
Okay so I recently got something that I've needed forever: ink. For my wicked awesome quill! Yes, I am a true writer with a true quill. I've already written to my army/band friend with it and now I like totally love sending letters!
My calligraphy is very much chicken scratch right now, however. Barely intelligible, really. But my roommate Mercedes says it takes awhile to get the hang of. She is totally way into calligraphy and it looks WAY cool!
So if anyone wants me to write them letters with my quill, totally email me your addresses! That'd rock!
In other news, I'm a college girl! And I LOVE IT! I'm taking sixteen credits and majoring in English with a Creative Writing emphasis and a Business Management minor (I think). My roommates are all super cool, too! There's Ashley, Mercedes, Amy, Brittaney, Malynne, Kelly, and Arika! Ashley is Asian and way super cool and she's going into Early Childhood Development, Mercedes is a spaz and a workaholic who is going into Anthropology, Amy loves to watch TV and hates to get her picture taken and is majoring in Psychology, Brittaney is loveable and interesting and is a Bovine major (I know, so cool!), Malynne is a unique molly mormon with many quirks and she's not sure what she's doing, Kelly is strong and opinionated and tiny and is going into English as well, and Arika is quiet but so sweet and is going into International Studies. We're quite the lovely, crazy bunch and we've already had our family picture taken! :D

It seems you're enjoying yourself in college. That's great! Most of my friends have left for college, so the Branch is a bit bare. What brand of pen do you have? This calligraphy sounds intriguing, maybe I'll give it a try...
