Prayers to Rex and Haiti

Okay, let's start this whole blogging more thing on a positive note.

So I've been doing some school lately! Even though I'm not actually living at USU currently. I'm doing independent study classes. Two of them, in fact. Math 1010 and British Literary History: Romantic Period. And take a gander at this book I have to study from!

But the best part is that I am so excited to get into school! I love school! I'm a nerd and it's okay!

Okay, I think I'll include a Random Thought of the Day! in these blogs. What do you think? Yes? No?

{whispers}Who is this chick and why am I reading her blog?{/whispers}

Okay, today's random thought is brought to you by the weather, Rain. California has been getting poured on the past couple days. And what I wanna know is, why does California suddenly get to have bad weather? I mean Utah is notorious for having unpredictable weather! And now California comes and steals it from us?! Are we going to take this?!?!

Well I suppose we have to. Well played, Mother Nature.

But seriously, Utah is completely smogged over right now and the weather man/woman keeps saying, "A big storm is coming! It'll wipe out this smog and then we can all breathe again!" But has that happened? NoOoOoOoOo. California, quit hogging the rain!

On a more serious note, please send your prayers to the Rex family. Their son Michael, who is my age and I used to play with him when I was little, drowned today. He's still alive, miraculously and he's in a medically induced coma. They're going to pull him out of it tomorrow hopefully but they're not sure he'll ever wake up or if he'll have brain damage or not.

Thanks for sending your prayers their way. And of course, send your prayers to Haiti as well.

Love ya!

Brittany

Yes. More snow, please!!! Although it is nice to have it melt as we go so we don't have to plow. Just on the sidewalks. Why can't it snow just on the grass?
